Aquamarine
Inspired by the eponymous variation of beryl, Aquamarine is a design proposal that designates the water fountain as a place of respite. The idea is to reintroduce the water fountain as part of the earth, something tgrows out of the earth much like beryl crystals—a message of water’s inherent preciousness. Compactly fitted seats sit adjacent to two water fountains with varying heights, one for wheelchair users and the other for the general public.
